What is a Fiiler and how does it work?
Dermal fillers, as the name suggests, are used to fill recessed, facial areas. It is a temporary, relatively painless procedure with immediate results.
A quick fix to soften facial wrinkles, plump lips, and fill out any recessed facial areas. Fillers work by adding small amounts of volume along the crease or depressions. This volume plumps up the skin and reduces or eliminates the recessed area/crease.

The main ingredient in JUVÉDERM® fillers is a modified form of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). JUVÉDERM® fillers temporarily restore volume loss in certain areas of the face and help provide long-lasting, natural-looking results. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a sugar naturally produced by the body that retains moisture and elasticity in the skin. It is broken down by the body in one or two days and is constantly replaced. However, as we age, this replacement mechanism diminishes, and the moisturizing and plumping effects of HA decrease. For this reason, HA is used in dermal filler procedures to help restore lost hydration and improve the skin's volume and elasticity.

JUVÉDERM® injectable gels labeled with "XC" contain pain-reducing lidocaine to help manage pain or discomfort during the injection. You may also ask your aesthetic healthcare provider about a topical numbing cream or ice to help further minimize discomfort.
Products in the JUVÉDERM® Collection are FDA-approved and have been widely studied. Numerous clinical studies have been completed globally evaluating the safety and effectiveness of Vycross® technology fillers. The JUVÉDERM® Collection of fillers are approved for use in adults aged 21 and. older.
Effects are visible immediately after injection. Our fillers are reversible and non-permanent, although with ongoing treatment the time interval between successive treatments will extend as skin repairs itself beneath the folds and creases.
The most common side effects were temporary reactions at the treatment site, such as tenderness, bruising, swelling, lumps/bumps, redness, pain, firmness, discoloration, or itching. As with all skin-injection procedures, there is a risk of infection. Minimize exercise, sun or heat exposure, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours following treatment to avoid worsening these side effects. JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC, for lips and lines, is a crystal-clear injectable gel approved for lip augmentation and the correction of perioral lines (lines around the mouth), often referred to as lipstick lines, vertical lip lines, or lip wrinkles, in adults over the age of 21. It provides subtle lip enhancement while smoothing the appearance of fine lines around the mouth.
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC results can last up to 1 year, depending on the individual and treatment area.
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC, for use in the cheeks, is an FDA-approved injectable gel indicated for restoring volume in the midface (cheeks) in adults over 21. Age-related midface volume loss can lead to flattening of the cheeks and sagging of overlying tissue. VOLUMA® XC is injected beneath the skin to provide lift, restore contour, and improve facial proportions.
JUVÉDERM®VOLUMA® XC, for use in the chin, is also FDA-approved for chin augmentation in adults over 21. Deep injection in the chin region can improve projection, shape, and overall facial symmetry.
